Nigel is a seasoned operator in the sectors of Telecommunications, IT, and Data Centres. He has acquired his business acumen and communication skills at senior executive and director level as well as frontline sales and business development. He has negotiated contracts at board level with major institutions and international corporations and has negotiated with domestic and overseas governments. His original career was in the financial services sector for a major lending institution (now HBOS) becoming one of the youngest managers in the Country. He then became Sales Director in one of the first Call Centre and IT based financial services businesses in the UK in a joint venture with Legal & General. It was through this venture that Nigel became aware of the huge potential of the telecommunication industry and was head hunted to join an American facilities based carrier. As Commercial Director he was responsible for sales and commercial expansion throughout Europe as well as areas of The Middle East, Africa and Asia. He then joined the Global Switch Data Centre operation at an embryonic stage as a director with founder status and was in charge of business development and then global sales. Nigel has maintained his interests in the information & communication technology sector and is CEO of ArribaCom Group. This business focuses heavily on revenue assurance consulting, anti-fraud management and cyber security services in ICT.
